Be Fitness
I’ve been sharing my mindful journey on this blog for a couple years now. It has been a practice of self reflection, sharing and at times connection. There have been times I’ve been prolific and times I’ve been quiet. And now at this time I have an exciting announcement. I recently started teaching meditation at Be Fitness and I absolutely love it. I do not have my PHD in psychology or neuroscience but I do have a meditation practice that has changed my life and I am honored and humbled to share my practice at Be Fitness.
The funny thing is we were members at Be years ago and then we moved and life changed. This past Dec while we were still in the midst of COVID my daughter Sierra invited me to a class and it was perfect, exactly what I needed at that time. It provided me some normalcy and hope in a time that still felt so uncertain. My first class was Body Combat, which was way out of my comfort zone. I was reminded how important it is to try new things. It is all to easy to get stuck in our ways. Be provides many opportunities to try something new and now that even includes meditation. I have come to really value the variety in my fitness routine. I now do Barre, Yoga, Cycling, Body Combat, Body Pump, and of course Meditation and I still want to try their Boot Camp and Pilates classes!
Be is so much more than a gym to me, it is a wellness community. The instructors are dedicated and inspiring. The staff and members are friendly and welcoming. I am forever grateful to my daughter Sierra for encouraging me to give Be Fitness another try and to Becky and Katie for welcoming and encouraging me.
Health and wellness is a journey and now Be Fitness is part of my journey and I am grateful to have a place and a community that values meditation as an important part of fitness.
